It's no secret that Summer is my least favorite season (maybe that will change now that we're going to have a pool), so now that August is here I'm already fantasizing about Fall and the holidays.
I'm starting to get the first Fall magazines and catalogs, and I squeal with delight when I open them and see the reds and oranges, the roaring fires in the fireplaces, the pumpkins on the porches and tables. October, November, and December are my favorite months with the decorations, and the parties, and the weather (not that we get the dramatic weather change in L.A. like in other parts of the country, but it's something).

fall and winter, definitely. I've been eying all the fall catalogs too, and I can't wait until it's socially acceptable for me to pull all my fall decor out again!!

I'm not a summer person too... And, we planted white and orange pumpkins this year so as they come in, I just get more excited. =)
ReplyDeleteI absolutely loved the 4th picture you posted, but they're all great! I like that time of the year as well, even living in Sweden where the summers aren't as hot as here, I loved fall and winter. To be honest... I already shopped two Christmas gifts for my parents while away on vacation :)
